The Stoics were never ones for flamboyancy. Whether that be amazing conceptualisations, hypotheses, theories about how to live life or vanity in the way that they dress or behave. Action and embodiment were always the key.
With this in mind, it may seem strange to create a store that sells Stoic merchandise. The Stoics weren't materialistic in any form, so why create Stoicism clothing and other products around the philosophy?
The answer is quite simple really and the whole reason behind why this Stoic shop was created in the first place: the alchemy of turning ideas into form.
I'm a regular reader of the amazing Daily Stoic and have been familiar with the power and wisdom of Stoicism for some time. The only problem I would face is that I would always forget the key message of the day by mid-morning.
It's a universal law: thoughts are ephemeral but physical objects stick around much longer. Having these objects in your life is ideal for adopting a philosophy like Stoicism that you want to be reminded of as much as possible.
Whether it be small reminders like coins or a ring that you wear or something more mainstream like a t-shirt or phone case, the intention is always the same: a reminder of the philosophy that you want to embody. Always for yourself, not necessarily to show to others. This is why our designs are always minimalistic.

One of our most popular products. The Stoic coins or medallions which are designed to be carried in your pocket, sat on your desk or visible at all times.
